Tandem pushchairs that are lightweight generally have tighter turns than side-byside models, however, they can be more challenging to drive over bumps and uneven surfaces. They can also be slower to accelerate and are heavier to move. This puts strain on your back.

It's important to remember that strollers of this type aren't as efficient in navigating narrow aisles in supermarkets and aren't able to cope with a lot of shopping. Although it's easier to turn the stroller on a small curved path, this can still be a problem.
